I just wanted to share the new tradition my little and I thought up! We bought puzzle pieces from Hobby Lobby and decorated them, but instead of decorating a pair for each other we did one design twice. One version just has our name, and the other version has our name and the relationship we have to the other person. Once we finish, we’ll exchange the piece that says “Big” or “Little” on it. By doing it this way, when her grand big (or maybe one day, when I get a g-little) decides to give her a piece she can just add it to the pieces she already has. Ultimately, I will have a piece that I decorated with my name, a piece from my Big with her name decorated her own way, and a piece from my little decorated her way. This can be added to ad infinitem and can be carried out for generations! I’m so excited for us to trade pieces so I can hang our visual family tree on the wall :) (Btdubs, for people with twins/multiple littles, you can stack them. For instance if I had another little their piece could attach on top or below my littles piece. Just sharing!)
